  • Gnomesville where no humans lurk

    Gorgeous Gnomesville

Gnomesville is located in the Ferguson Valley in the Southwest of Western Australia, at the corner of Wellington Mill Rd & Ferguson Rd, Wellington Mill.

It’s basically a village that is comprised completely of gnomes.

It’s a collective artwork created by thousands of anonymous contributors, constantly evolving, and full of personality. You can add your own gnomes if you wish, or just enjoy the work of other contributors.

Visiting Gnomesville makes you feel good. It has a wonderful variety of gnomes, and their stories are quite enchanting.

Gnomesville is about a two-hour drive south of Perth, but it’s not on a main road, so it can take a bit of finding.

  • Tony Giles Intrepid Blind Traveller

    Tony Giles Intrepid Blind Traveller

I first heard about Tony when I was interviewing a guy about his travels through West Africa. He met Tony, and suggested that I should interview him.

I contacted Tony and discovered that he was in Australia, and was visiting the city where I live, Perth, Western Australia. So, I arranged to pick him, and his partner Tatiana, up to interview him on the Australian TV show, The Couch, about his travels.

Afterwards, I brought them back to my place to rest up before taking them to the Airport, as they’d booked to fly to Sydney.

Tony is the most inspiring and dedicated traveller. He’s totally blind and partly deaf, but that doesn’t seem to stop him. Tony has tons of energy and he seems to enjoy life.

I recorded this interview with Tony before Covid occurred. He’s still travelling. Is still adventurous, and is enjoying a life that he wishes rot lead.

As you listen to this conversation, you’ll discover that Tony is a totally unique and positive human being.
